My Story
Hi there! I'm Lauren, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from Old Dominion University. Before diving into my studies, I began my career in technology and customer service where I was able to cultivate essential skills that laid a strong foundation for my transition into communications.
Throughout my studies and diverse work experiences, I've developed a passion for strategic storytelling through various internships and projects that allowed me to grow practical skills in public relations, social media management, and research. One of my standout experiences includes my role as an internal communications intern at Jefferson Lab, a Department of Energy research facility. Here, I've had the honor of achieving multiple published editorials and have gained experience in science-focused content creation and project management. You can explore samples of my work in my projects or check out my other skills that may set me apart!

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring the intersection of computer-mediated technology and psychology, specifically in how it has shaped internet culture and online discourse. When I'm not immersed in research or writing? You'll find me collecting the newest thrillers to add to my 200+ book library or engaging in the newest cozy, fantasy game.

Looking forward, I am eager to apply my creativity and contribute to meaningful projects while continuing to further my knowledge. Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate and make an impact together!
